The adventure began with a festive arrival in Hokkaido on December 3, when the group arrived in Sapporo, Hokkaido’s vibrant capital.

Settled into the comfort of their hotel located in the heart of the city which offered a warm and welcoming base for the top qualifiers as they prepared for the exciting days ahead.

On December 4, a free day was designated to allow the group to experience the taste of the local life in Sapporo at their leisure.

Preliminary data from the agency showed the consumer price index slowed to 1.9 percent year on year in September, easing from 3.3 percent in August and 6.1 percent in 2023.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, the group was free to wander the city’s iconic streets and visit local landmarks.

On the third day, December 5, the group discovered the charm of Hokkaido which dove deeper into the cultural treasures of Sapporo.

The day began with a visit to the Royce Chocolate Factory, where they witnessed the meticulous chocolate-making process and enjoyed some of Japan’s finest confections. This was followed by a shopping spree at Mitsui Outlet Park in Sapporo Kitahiroshima, where the group found unbeatable deals on local brands.

The next stop took place at the Hokkaido Jingu on December 6, wherein the group visited one of the most revered shrines in the region. Immersed in the serene beauty of the shrine’s traditional architecture and lush surroundings, the group found a moment of peace before heading back to the hotel for another hearty dinner.

On December 7, after breakfast at the hotel, the qualifiers journeyed from Sapporo to the famed Noboribetsu Ski Resort which is known for its breathtaking natural hot springs and ski slopes. The group marveled at the beauty of the snowy mountains and felt the excitement as they prepared for their next ski adventure.

From Noboribetsu, the group transferred to Niseko Hanazono Ski Resort, one of Japan’s premier skiing destinations. Surrounded by powdery snow, stunning views, and world-class ski facilities, the group perfectly ended their winter adventure.
