A huge blunder form Bhaskar Roy saw the hosts open the scoring after the hour-mark in Kochi whereas Noah Sadaoui doubled the lead before Alexandre Coeff piled on misery to complete a convincing win over the newly-promoted side this season.

The victory, that came after three successive defeats, saw the Blaster climb to 10th spot in the ISL points table whereas Mohammedan SC remained at the bottom.

The hosts started off well, working their way from the left wing and Noah Sadaoui and Adrian Luna sent loads of crosses into the box but KBFC forward Kwame Peprah failed to convert them.

The visitors held a strong defiance in front of their goal, as they did not allow any opportunity for the home team and relied on counterattacks to advance.

However, the Tuskers changed the outcome of the game in the second-half considerably. The Blasters led through Mohammedan Sporting goalie Bhaskar Joy's blunder in the 62nd minute, who tried to punch the ball away but found himself only to push into his own net.

Chen Benhai gave the hosts the lead with a fine field goal in the first quarter following an enterprising team move. But the highlight of the match was Chao Jieming's sensational solo effort in the second quarter.

The Blasters then grew in confidence. Sadaoui doubled their lead in the 80th minutejilibet, following a cross from Korou Singh, and then Alexandre Coeff sealed all three points in the 90th minute as the home fans enjoyed a much-deserved victory.
